LG 3d TV, LG Bluray old LG DVD and audio reciever combo

Hey guys i just bought an LG 3d tv Also an LG 3d Blue ray player. Im currently using and old LG DVD/5.1 surround system combo for audio. It has i hdmi out and 1 optical out, and some other ins/out but not what i need.

I have the blue ray connected to tv using 1.4 hdmi

I have the comcast box connected to hdmi 2 of tv

I have the old LG dvd/Audio reciever combo to tv hdmi 3

I have an optical cable connected from the blue ray to old LG audio

I then have just red/wht connecting the cable box to the old lg input 2.

The problem is watching tv the words arent in sync with audio. Can i connect all 3 hdmi's to TV and use 1 optical out from TV to Old LG DVD/Reciever and have digital audio throughout the system? any help would be appreaciated!! or do i need to upbrade the reciever?

This way we know what capabilities you actually have.

Your connections seem good to me. It is possible though that a newer receiver will help w/ the audio delay. Maybe, but not necessarily. YMMV. Running audio out from the LG HDTV might not necessarily solve the problem either, but you could always try it out. Keep in mind that plenty of current HDTVs still do not do properly output 5.1DD audio. Again, YMMV. What does the LG user manual say? -again, you did not provide proper model numbers so we can help with this wink

Is there also a way to connect the Comcast box to your old LG receiver via digital optical or digital coaxial instead of (analog) red/white composite(?)

Tv lg 50pw350
3d blueray bx580
Comcast explorer 8300 ( found out today not 3d approved comcast receiver, so tomorrow they will provide rng200 instead.)
Lg DVD/ 5.1 surround LH-e9674
Hdmi 1.4 cables wired to tv, blueray, and cable box. Optical from blueray to lg receiver. (now coax from cable box to receiver on input 2)

It does have both optical and coaxial with dual input. I did buy an digital coax cable today to connect audio from the cable box. I bought a digital coax today, and will see if that lag goes away, thanks for your help. If you have any further advise? I'd be happy to hear it.
